Pedestal Assembly

Pedestal Head

• 90mm diameter steel disc welded to a steel socket which is produced in three lengths of 30mm, 53mm and 98mm. Socket is internally threaded to provide 17mm, 40mm and 85mm of vertical adjustment when assembled to the pedestal base
• Full range of field and perimeter precision moulded ABE headcaps can be fitted thereby ensuring good panel location and electrical continuity

Pedestal Base

• Base to be at least 100cm2 and made from 2.5mm thick steel plate
• Pedestal tube of 25mm dia welded to baseplate
• Pedestal tube externally threaded to accept pedestal
• Base to have holes for optional mechanical fixings and adhesive key

Kped04 Understructure Application Areas

• Use with all panel ranges at finished floor heights from 80mm to 600mm
• Use with KH60WS12L panel at finished floor heights from 75mm to 650mm
• Use with factory laminated/finished panels at finished floor heights from 80mm to 450mm

Kped04 with Snap-on Stringer Understructure Application Areas

• The prime reason for using snap-on stringers is to provide additional lateral stability
• Use with all finished panel ranges (except extra heavy) at finished floor heights between 450mm and 620mm
• Stringers shall be 60cm long and made from galvanised steel
• Stringer can be screwed to pedestal head for continuous earth bonding

Kped04 with Bolt-on Stringer Understructure Application Areas

• Use with KH60WS18G extra heavy panel at finished floor heights between 110mm and 620mm
• Use with KH60WS18Geb edge band extra heavy panel at finished floor heights between 110mm and 620mm
• Use with all panel ranges in areas of high rolling loads

• Green coloured headcaps are used with KH60WS12L panel
